Vestibular Rehabilitation Therapy
Vestibular rehabilitation therapy is a specialized form of therapy intended to alleviate both the primary and secondary problems caused by vestibular disorders. It is an exercise-based program primarily designed to reduce vertigo and dizziness, gaze instability, and/or imbalance and falls.
Vestibular rehabilitation at Dynamic Chiropractic and Sport Therapy Center includes a thorough assessment from our specialized professionals of the neck, specific testing of the vestibular system, balance, gait, visual testing, and positional head testing to determine causes and contributing factors to your condition.
Assessment findings and education of the vestibular system will be explained and a personalized treatment plan will be developed and implemented based on your evaluation. Patients can expect treatments to consist of (but not limited to): positional maneuvers, habitual exercises, balance and/or gait retraining, stretching, relaxation techniques and adaptation exercises. At Dynamic we strive for optimal results which is done by providing continuous evaluation, while working closely with you to progressively improve your function and adjust treatment as needed.
