What is Chiropractic?
Chiropractic can be described as hands on manipulations that corrects imbalances and interferences involving the spine, joints, nervous system, and muscles. Chiropractic adjustments are a safe and effective way to restore motion, relieve pain, stiffness and discomfort, and allow the bodies systems to functions as they were designed to. Chiropractic manipulation is used to restore mobility to joints restricted by tissue injury caused by a traumatic event, such as falling or accident, or repetitive stress, such as doing the same movements constantly or sitting without proper back support.
What does Chiropractic do for me?
After an adjustment, patients are often surprised at the level of relief, reduced tension, and increased mobility they receive. Often patients don’t realize how restricted their joints and muscles were until after an adjustment. The human body has the wonderful ability to heal itself, and chiropractic helps facilitate that process. We feel that it is very important to treat each person and injury as a unique situation, tailoring treatment and rehab plans to suit that individual. Whether it is for athletes, car or work accident patients, babies, kids, or adults, we can alter our treatments for all types of patients.
